Jabwaki, I bought my bike used and it came with Suzuki saddle bags. I'm at work and can't measure them at this time but I would say that mine are just about the same size as you mentioned 10x10x4. In my opinion anything much bigger would look out of place on the Savage. With a little planning and careful packing you can get alot into those two 10x10x4 bags. Don't plan on any week long trips but rain suit,extra bungee cords,denim jacket and a few other necessities will fit real easy. Good luck! John
